Go Named To CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team
Columbia, S.C. – South Carolina senior Lois Kaye Go capped off her season with one final honor as she was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team on Friday.
“Lois is shining example for this program and the culture we’ve built here,” head coach Kalen Anderson said. “Her drive to succeed both on and off the course is unparalleled.”
Go earned a spot on the CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team in 2019 in addition to winning the SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year Award in 2019 and 2020, the only two-time winner of the award in program history.
Though she’s earned numerous awards academically, Go is no slouch on the course either. A three-time All-America Honorable Mention, Go is one of three Gamecocks to earn All-America honors in three different seasons. She also holds the program’s scoring average record (72.65).
Go is returning to Columbia for one final season after the 2019-20 was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
