Kamiah McGrath Joins Equestrian Squad

Columbia, S.C. – The University of South Carolina equestrian team is adding some more talent as Kamiah McGrath will join the team ahead of the 2020-21 season, head coach Boo Major announced on Tuesday.
 
McGrath, the daughter of South Carolina assistant coach Jennifer McGrath, joins Carolina after two years in College Station, Texas with Texas A&M.
 
“We are excited to welcome Kamiah to our Gamecock equestrian family,” head coach Boo Major said. “She will be a great addition to our horsemanship team.”
 
Prior to joining the Aggies McGrath earned 2017 American Quarter Horse Association Youth World Champion honors. A five-time Congress Champion, McGrath hopes to work as an equestrian coach after graduation.
