STUDENT TICKETING CHANGES FOR FOOTBALL AND SOCCER

The University of South Carolina Athletics Department and the Department of Student Life announced Tuesday changes to the student ticketing process for both football and soccer this fall as part of the reduced seating capacity plan.

At Williams-Brice Stadium, capacity will be reduced to approximately 20,000 available seats. Stone Stadium has been approved to have approximately 675 seats and the Carolina Volleyball Center will be allowed to have approximately 200 seats. Due to these restrictions, a limited-number of student tickets will be available for football games and soccer matches this fall. Students, along with general fans, will not be able to attend volleyball matches this fall.

Since there are reduced capacities at football and soccer this fall, the student ticketing process for both sports has been revised.

For football, student tickets will still be prioritized based on reward points. However, the only points that will be used to determine priority will be seniority points, rollover points and points from joining the Student Gamecock Club. Students will still be eligible to receive points from attending soccer games that go towards the 2020-2021 Student Reward Prizes, but those points will not count towards prioritizing football tickets. In addition, due to the limited number of student tickets available each game, students that are eligible to attend will only be allowed to attend one game. The request process for the football game vs. Tennessee on Sept. 26 will begin on Sept. 21 at 9 a.m.

For soccer, students will now be required to claim a ticket on the Student Rewards App utilizing the 100 percent mobile process. Soccer tickets for students will be available four hours prior to kick-off on a first-come, first-serve basis.
