Pauline Roussin-Bouchard Named to 2021 Arnold Palmer Cup

ORLANDO, Fla.  –  South Carolina women’s golf sophomore Pauline Roussin-Bouchard has been named to the International team at the 2021 Arnold Palmer Cup, committee officials announced on Wednesday.

The 2021 Arnold Palmer Cup will be hosted by Rich Harvest Farms on June 11-13, 2021. This marks the second year Roussin-Bouchard will play in the Arnold Palmer Cup after helping lead the international side to victory back in December.

Roussin-Bouchard is in the middle of a stellar season with the Gamecocks, picking up individual wins alongside team victories at The Ally in October and the Moon Golf Invitational in February. The French phenom has broken multiple records as a Gamecock, including…

  • Lowest 54-hole tournament score – 202 (-14) at The Ally in 2020
  • Lowest 18-hole round score – 63 (-9) at Moon Golf Invitational in 2021
  • Lowest freshman 54-hole tournament score – 205 (-11) at Windy City Collegiate Classic in 2019
  • Lowest 18-hole freshman round score – 65 (-7) at Windy City Collegiate Classic in 2019

The current No. 3 ranked woman in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, Roussin-Bouchard has claimed three medalist honors during her time with the program, second only to Kristy McPherson’s six wins.

The Gamecocks concluded their home tournament, the Gamecock Intercollegiate, earlier today and return to action next weekend at the Valspar Augusta Invitational on March 13-14.
