Gamecocks Drop Game To Ranked Marshall Team

COLUMBIA, S.C. —- South Carolina men’s soccer dropped a 2-0 match to No. 12 Marshall on Saturday to open Conference USA play at Stone Stadium. The Herd scored both goals in the second half to snap Carolina’s four-match winning streak at home.
 
Marshall held an 15-6 advantage in shots while corners were even at 2-2. There were 29 combined fouls in the match.
