Women's Soccer Match At Clemson Shifts Time
Carolina to now face in-state rival on ACC Network
COLUMBIA, S.C. —- No. 17 South Carolina women’s soccer’s match against Clemson on Thursday, Sept. 9 has shifted times and will now air nationally on the ACC Network from Riggs Field in Clemson, S.C. Originally set for 7:00 p.m. ET, kick is now scheduled for 6:00 p.m. to accommodate the network.
Alongside the match on the ACC Network, the Gamecocks will appear five times on national television during the 2021 season.
Carolina will be seen twice on the SEC Network and twice on ESPNU. Three of the five televised matches will take place from Stone Stadium.
The first televised contest will be Sunday, Sept. 12, when the Gamecocks play host to Virginia Tech. That contest will be shown live on SEC Network beginning at 5:00 pm.
Four days later the Gamecocks will be in action again at Missouri. The 7:00 p.m. match from Audrey J. Walton Stadium in Columbia, Mo. will air on SEC Network.
ESPNU will have the coverage for a pair of home matches in October. The Gamecocks will host Tennessee on Sunday, Oct. 10, at 2:00 pm, and entertain Alabama two weeks later, on Sunday, Oct. 24, at 1:00 pm.
Several other home games will be streamed on SECN+, including The Citadel (Aug. 19), Boston College (Sept. 2), Charlotte (Sept. 6), Vanderbilt (Sept. 23), Auburn (Oct. 1) and Georgia (Oct. 15).
The Gamecocks finished the 2020-21 season with an 11-5 record, including a 6-2 mark in SEC play, reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
2021 soccer season tickets are now available. A season ticket includes admission to all twenty home men’s and women’s soccer games at Stone Stadium this fall. Season tickets start at $25 for adults and $10 for youth, 17 and under. This year, fans can upgrade their season ticket to include a limited-edition Gamecock soccer scarf for an additional $10.
