Hoole to Join Gamecock Men’s Tennis in the Spring
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Casey Hoole of Brisbane, Australia, has signed a financial aid agreement to attend the university and play men’s tennis for the Gamecocks, head coach Josh Goffi announced Friday. Hoole will join the Gamecocks in Spring 2022.
“We are very excited to have Casey join the squad,” said Goffi. “He’s a high achiever who wants to help the team reach its goals. He will be a great addition this January.”
Hoole has a career-high ITF Junior ranking of 78 and a current UTR of 12.58 in singles and 11.69 in doubles. He is ranked as the No. 5 Junior in Australia.
Hoole competed at the Australian Open Junior men’s doubles in 2020 and made it to the round of 16. He reached the final of the 14-and-under Australian Championships in 2017 and represented Australia at the Longines Future Aces event in 2015.
