COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina men’s tennis sophomore Toby Samuel remained perfect through the last day of the Gamecock Scramble, and three Gamecocks secured ranked wins on the day.
No. 49 Samuel took down Giulio Peregro of Texas A&M in straights sets 6-3, 6-2. He did not drop a single set in any of his three singles matches throughout the weekend. In doubles, Samuel partnered with Jake Beasley to secure three wins and remain perfect in the tournament.
