Women’s Basketball Releases 2021-22 Chalk Talk Dates

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s basketball released today the dates for its series of virtual Chalk Talks presented by Village Idiot Pizza. The pre-game events will be virtual and require pre-registration again this season, and they will include one of the Gamecocks’ assistant coaches breaking down that day’s game and the opportunity to win various Gamecock women’s basketball merchandise and collectables as well as Village Idiot Pizza gift cards.
 
The planned Chalk Talk dates and tentative times are:
         Thu., Dec. 30, 5:45 p.m. ET – at Missouri
         Thu., Jan. 6, 6:45 p.m. ET – at LSU
         Sun., Jan. 16, 1:45 p.m. ET – at Arkansas
         Sun., Jan. 30, 10:45 a.m. ET – at Florida
         Thu., Feb. 24, 7:15 p.m. ET – at Texas A&M
 
Fans can register for each Chalk Talk at: www.GamecockChalkTalk.com and will receive a confirmation email with more specific details. On the day of each Chalk Talk, only the first 500 can be admitted into the session. Everyone who registers will be entered to win a grand prize of a Team USA Olympic Dawn Staley jersey autographed by Coach.
 
In addition to becoming the presenting sponsor of this season’s Chalk Talks, Village Idiot Pizza is also providing G-Hive members a discount of $5 off any order of $20 or more from Jan. 1-June 30, 2022. The University of South Carolina alumni and majority female-owned business may add other women’s basketball events later in the season.
