3.0 for 30 Celebration

COLUMBIA, S.C. — For the 30^th-straight semester, University of South Carolina student-athletes have reached a departmental grade point average above 3.0. On Feb. 23, Gamecock Athletics will recognize the 396 student-athletes who made the 2021 Fall Athletics Director Honor Roll at halftime of the men’s basketball game vs. Mississippi State.
 
As part of the celebration, the athletics department is excited to announce a special ticket promotion that allows fans to continue to support our student-athletes success in the classroom while enjoying SEC basketball. For $15 each, fans can receive a lower level ticket to the men’s basketball game on February 23 – $5 from each ticket purchased will directly benefit the Gamecock Student-Athlete Promise Fund. To access the discount, fans will need to purchase a minimum of two tickets.
 
The Gamecock Student Athlete Promise fund was created to fund initiatives and programs designed to better prepare our student-athletes for the rest of their lives outside of sport. The Beyond Sports program, which provides meaningful professional development and internship opportunities to our student-athletes, is a focal point of this fund.
