First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday's game will be streamed on SEC Network Plus. All games also will be broadcast on the Gamecock Sports Network with Tommy Moody and Stuart Lake on the call. The Gamecocks won 1-of-3 games at No. 13 Texas A&M this past weekend. Carolina won the Sunday contest, hitting five home runs, including a Colin Burgess grand slam, in a 9-4 win.

Shuttle parking for the University of South Carolina baseball season will be operational at the Key Road Gravel Lot (1105 Key Road). Shuttle begins two (2) hours prior to first pitch and continues until 1 hour after the game.

SCOUTING USC UPSTATE
The Spartans are coming off a three-game sweep at Longwood this past weekend. Devin Buckner had four hits and former Gamecock Noah Myers homered in Sunday’s 11-1 win. Bucker leads the Spartans with a .344 batting average and 47 RBI. Upstate is starting righty Chase Matheny on Tuesday. He is 2-0 with a 4.36 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 33 innings pitched.
SERIES VS. USC UPSTATE
The Gamecocks have won all 13 meetings with USC Upstate heading into Tuesday’s game. The last meeting took place in 2019, when the Gamecocks won a 1-0 thriller. Jonah Beamon’s single in the bottom of the ninth broke a scoreless tie. Wes Clarke had three hits in that game while Parker Coyne struck out six in five innings of work.

OFFENSIVE EXPLOSION AT TEXAS A&M
Carolina hit .348 with seven home runs and 40 hits in the three games at Texas A&M May 6-8. Braylen Wimmer was 6-for-9 with two home runs and five walks while Josiah Sightler had a pair of long balls and drove in five. Kevin Madden had five hits and three RBI and Colin Burgess had a grand slam in Sunday’s 9-4 win. Carolina is now up to .272 in batting average, up from .258 after the second game against Alabama April 29.
CAROLINA TURNS THREE
The Gamecocks recorded their first triple play since 1999 in Friday’s game at Texas A&M. With runners on first and second in the bottom of the third inning, A&M’s Jack Moss hit a line drive to Braylen Wimmer for the first out. He threw to Michael Braswell to get the runner at second, who then threw to Kevin Madden to force the runner at first. The last triple play in Gamecock history was on April 9, 1999, with Byron Jeffcoat to Marcos Rios to Jay Lambert.
