The Gamecocks emerged victorious on the road against Mississippi State on Thursday, defeating the Bulldogs 1-0.
5th year Claire Griffiths knocked one in from nearly 20 yards back with an assist from Payton Patrick, putting South Carolina on the board only six minutes into the game.
Fellow 5th year Jyllissa Harris officially broke the program record for games started (94) and moved into the No. 3 spot for game played (96), which ranks fifth in the nation.
Scouting the Wildcats
Kentucky remains 0-5 in SEC play after most recently falling to Auburn 3-1 on Oct. 6. Maggy Henschler notched the lone Kentucky goal in the loss, scoring her third of the season.

For fans attending Thursday’s game, student entry can be made through the Whaley Street gates. All others (media, season ticket holders, walk-ups) can enter through the Heyward Street gate. Parking is free within the Athletic Village Garage.
