Gamecocks Conclude Fall at Daniel Island on Sunday

CHARLESTON, S.C. – South Carolina men’s golf will look to bounce back and finish the fall strong at the Daniel Island Intercollegiate starting on Sunday. The Gamecocks competed at the Isleworth Collegiate earlier in the week.

Fifth-year senior Evans Lewis, graduate transfer Zack Byers, sophomore Nathan Franks and freshman Zach Adams all remain in the lineup. Sophomore Gene Zeigler returns for the event as the five-man. Sophomore Mason Tucker will make his Gamecock debut as an individual.

Carolina took second in the event last year in its first ever appearance. The team shot 862 (-2). Fanks, Lewis and Zeigler all competed. Franks and Zeigler each shot 4-over and finished T-25^th. Lewis shot 5-over with a pair of even par rounds in 54 holes to finish T-32^nd.

Charleston Southern is the host school this week. Defending champion Seton Hall is also in the field. Mississippi State will join the Gamecocks from the SEC in the field.
