PHOENIX, Ariz. – No. 4 South Carolina is out west in the desert for its debut appearance at the Cactus Cup, an all-match play event hosted by Arizona State at Papago Golf Club. The Gamecocks are joined by a trio of the nation’s top teams in the 11th ranked Sun Devils, No. 6 San Jose State and No. 8 Texas.
Each team will have six golfers competing in the round robin tournament. The tiebreaker will go to the team with the most individual wins.
The Gamecocks will first square off with the Longhorns on Monday. Senior Justine Fournand and graduate transfer Katherine Muzi will be off in the first group from hole one at 10:57 a.m. (ET). Carolina will then face Arizona State in the afternoon followed by a final day matchup with the Spartans on Tuesday.
