LEXINGTON, Ky. – The South Carolina men’s soccer team kicks off Sun Belt Conference play Friday night (Sept. 15), when the Gamecocks travel to 24th ranked Kentucky for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.

Taking the Pitch
- This will be the 23rd meeting between the Gamecocks and Wildcats.
- The two sides met twice last season, the final match of the regular season in Columbia and in the first round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament in Lexington.
- Carolina’s last victory in the series came in 2016, a 2-1 victory in Columbia.
- The Gamecocks are 2-7-2 on the road all-time against Kentucky.
- South Carolina’s last road victory came on Nov. 2, 2012, a 1-0 win in the season finale.
