No. 7 Gamecocks T-6th at Mason Rudolph Championship

South Carolina sits just five shots back of the top-three heading into final round Sunday

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – No. 7 South Carolina is T-6^th with No. 14 Arizona State after 36 holes of the Mason Rudolph Championship. The Gamecocks logged another under par round as a team with a 3-under 285.

Junior All-Americans Louise Rydqvist and Hannah Darling each fired red numbers to pace Carolina. Freshman Vai Heck also shot under par.

Rydqvist led the way with a 2-under 70. She is currently T-11^th at 4-under for the tournament. She had just one bogey on her scorecard. Darling shot 71 (-1) with five birdies. Heck also shot 71 (-1) and led the team with five birdies.

Freshman Maylis Lamoure was the final counting score with a 73 (+1). She finished strong with birdies on two of her final five holes. Sophomore Mia Sandtorv Lussand also shot 73 (+1) sinking four birdies on the day.

No. 9 Auburn remains in the lead at 20-under par with a round of 282 (-6) today. Ole Miss’ Andrew Lignell has a two shot lead at 10-under in the individual title race.

The Gamecocks will be paired with Arizona and Kentucky for the final 18 holes on Sunday. Sandtorv Lussand will be the first player off for Carolina at 9:09 a.m. (ET) at Vanderbilt Legends Club. Live scoring is available again via Golfstat.
