FAMS Celebrate Gamecock Paris Sendoff on Halloween
South Carolina women’s basketball hosted fans and ESPN SportsCenter host Elle Duncan for an open practice at Colonial Life Arena Tuesday night. Fans enjoyed a two-hour practice while also celebrating Halloween by painting pumpkins and getting scared in a “Boo House” set up in the McGuire Club. After practice, the team handed out candy and took selfies fans.
The event was also a sendoff for the team as it leaves on Wednesday afternoon for Paris where it will join Notre Dame in making history as the first NCAA women’s basketball regular-season game played in Europe.
