Anderson Announces Signing of Tiffany Tsai from Taiwan

Tsai becomes first player to sign with Gamecocks in 2024 class

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s golf announced the signing of Tiffany Tsai on Tuesday afternoon. The Taoyuan City, Taiwan, native is the first signee in the Gamecocks 2024 recruiting cycle.

“I am very excited to officially welcome Tiffany Tsai to the Gamecock women’s golf family,” said head coach Kalen Anderson. “Tiffany has all the tools in her game to be one of the world’s elite golfers. Her dedicated work ethic and positive personality will be an immediate asset to our program. I am confident Tiffany will grow significantly as a person and golfer with our culture and program.”

A talented, experienced player, Tsai is a member of the Taiwanese Junior National Team.

She won the 2023 FCG Callaway World Championship with a 54-hole score of 201 that featured a 64 and a 65 the final two rounds of play.

Tsai took sixth at the 2023 Taiwan Amateur Championship and also finished 11^th at the 2023 IMG World Junior Championship.
