Stute to Miss 2-3 Weeks with Shoulder Injury

Junior was injured midway through the second half Tuesday against Georgia
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Myles Stute will be out two to three weeks with a left shoulder strain. He left the game Tuesday night against Georgia with 10:57 to go in the second half and did not return.
A flagrant one, hook and hold was assessed on the play he was injured as he was attempting to get position to rebound a free throw.
Stute, who is in his first season in Garnet & Black, has started all 17 games this season for the Gamecocks. He’s the team’s third leading scorer, averaging 9.9 points per game. His 38.8 percent 3-point percentage leads the team and his 31 makes from behind the arc are second, behind only Meechie Johnson, who has made 35 triples so far this season.
Carolina returns to action on Saturday at Arkansas (10-7, 1-3 SEC). The Razorbacks are fresh off a buzzer beater home win on Tuesday night against Texas A&M. Tip-off is slated for 1 p.m. (ET) with Dave Neal (pxp) and Joe Kleine (analyst) on the call for the SEC Network broadcast.
