Carolina seeking its fourth-straight win in College Station and the team's sixth road win in SEC play this season

­­­­COLUMBIA, S.C. – No. 18/18 South Carolina (22-5, 10-4 SEC) remains on the road this week with a trip to College Station on tap to face Texas A&M (15-12, 6-8 SEC) on Wednesday evening. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. (ET) with Clay Matvick (pxp) and Daymeon Fishback (analyst) on the call for the SEC Network broadcast.

The top-25 Gamecocks recently picked up a big win at Ole Miss last Saturday, 72-59, that jolted the team up 11 spots in the NET Rankings. It was Carolina’s fifth road win in SEC play, which is T-2nd most in program history in SEC action with the 2016-17 team.

The Gamecocks have won three-straight at Reed Arena dating back to a 71-54 win on March 5, 2019.

Grad transfer B.J. Mack has scored in double figures four-straight games and freshman Collin Murray-Boyles has scored in double figures six-straight contest. Mack is averaging 16.8 points and 4.5 rebounds over his last four. He’s shooting 50.0 percent (23-of-46) from the field and 47.6 percent (10-of-21) from behind the arc. Murray-Boyles is averaging 17.8 points and 6.7 rebounds per game over his last six. He’s shooting 68.7 percent (46-of-67) and 83.3 percent (15-of-18) at the charity stripe.

The Aggies have six Quad 1 wins but have hit a bump in the road recently dropping four-straight contests. They are talented and experienced, led by All-SEC performer Wade Taylor IV. He averages 18.8 points per game, which is fourth-best in the conference. Tyrece Radford (15.1 ppg) and Henry Coleman III (10.2 ppg) also average double figures.

A&M is one of the best rebounding teams in the country. They rank third nationally in rebounds per game (42.7) and 12th in the country in rebounding margin (+8.5). The Aggies are the best offensive rebounding team in the country, averaging 17.8 offensive rebounds per contest.

Carolina enters the game 18-0 this season when out-rebounding its opponents. The Gamecocks are also 17-0 when scoring 70 or more points this season.
