South Carolina has finished in the top-five in all eight events the team has played in this season

AUGUSTA, Ga. – No. 5 South Carolina finished T-2^nd at the Valspar Augusta Invitational on Sunday. Play was suspended Saturday due to weather and second round action resumed this morning with the third round immediately after at Forest Hills Golf Club.

The Gamecocks shot 859 (-5) in route to another top-five finish. No. 14 OIe Miss held on for a three-shot victory. The Gamecocks, Rebels and Michigan were the only teams in the 17-team field to break par as a team over the course of 54 holes.

Junior All-American Hannah Darling notched another top-five finish as she T-2^nd at 5-under. Darling shot 67 (-5) in the second round and 74 (+2) in round three. Sophomore Mia Sandtorv Lussand put together a nice tournament as she T-8^th at 2-under. She shot 70 (-2) in round two and 74 (+2) in round three. Freshman Vairana Heck also notched a top-20 finish as she T-17^th at even par. Heck shot 74 (+2) in round two and led the team in the third round today with a 71 (-1). She was bogey free on her scorecard until a bogey and a double at holes 15 and 16.

Scoring was tough today with wet and windy conditions as Florida State was the only team to break par in the third round.

Junior All-American Louise Rydqvist finished T-27^th at 2-over for the tournament. She shot 72 (E) in round two and 74 (+2) in round three. Freshman Maylis Lamoure finished T-43^rd at 6-over with a pair of 74s (+2) today. Senior Sophia Burnett, who was playing as an individual this week, finished T-39^th at 5-over. She shot 73 (+1) and 74 (+2) today.
