Gamecocks Back at Bulls Bay Sunday

AWENDAW, S.C. – South Carolina is set to host the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate (March 24-26) with first round action getting underway on Sunday in The Lowcountry. The event, co-hosted by the Gamecocks and College of Charleston, enters its 18^th year this season. Carolina has won five times in its history.

No. 16 ETSU and No. 19 New Mexico are the top-25 teams in the field this week via the latest Clippd Team Rankings. The Bucs are the defending champions and shared co-champion honors with the Gamecocks in 2022.

Sophomore transfer Frankie Harris mans the top spot in the lineup this week. He’s joined by freshman Bo Carpenter, senior Rafe Reynolds, sophomore Zach Adams and junior transfer Laurens Schulze-Doering. Gene Zeigler will make his season debut as an individual.

Carolina is paired with Marquette and Missouri for the opening 18 holes on Sunday morning. Schulze-Doering will be the first player off at 9 a.m. (ET) on hole one.

Admission is free this week at Bulls Bay Golf Club.
