Gamecocks T-3rd After 18 Holes at Bulls Bay

AWENDAW, S.C. – South Carolina opened with a 1-under 287 on Sunday at the 18^th edition of the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate. The Gamecocks sit T-3^rd, three shots back of leader LSU.

Redshirt sophomore transfer Frankie Harris led the way with a 2-under 70. He sits T-4^th, a shot back of LSU’s Connor Gaunt and College of Charleston’s Max Dupree.

Sophomore Zach Adams, a Charleston native, also posted a red number with a 1-under 71. Senior Rafe Reynolds shot 72 (E) in his return to the lineup, making a team-high five birdies. Junior transfer Laurens Schulze-Doering was the final counting score with a 74 (+2).

Freshman Bo Carpenter shot 75 (+3). Junior Gene Zeigler made his season debut today playing as an individual, and he shot 73 (+1) with five birdies on his scorecard.
