Gamecocks Finish 13th at Tiger Invitational in Regular Season Finale

COLUMBIA, Mo. – South Carolina shot a final round score of 286 (+2) on Tuesday in the final round of the Tiger Invitational. The Gamecocks moved up one spot on the leaderboard to finish 13^th at 16-over for the tournament.

Redshirt sophomore Frankie Harris paced the team this week with a T-4^th finish at 5-under for the tournament. He shot 73 (+2) in the final round. The top-five is Harris’ third of the season in eight stroke play starts, which leads the team.

Senior Rafe Reynolds led the team in the final round with a 1-under 70. He shot 217 (+4) and finished T-42^nd. Sophomore Zach Adams shot 71 (E) in the final round and freshman Bo Carpenter posted a 72 (+1) to round out the counting scores for the Gamecocks in round three.

Sixth-year Lansdon Robbins competed as an individual this week and had a solid showing with a T-27^th finish at 1-over (214) for the tournament. He shot 70 (-1) for the second consecutive day en route to his best showing of the season in four events played.

Iowa State came from 11 back to win the team title by two shots over host Missouri thanks to a field-best 277 (-7) in the final round. Just three teams in the 18-team field broke par in the final round today. Missouri’s Jack Lundin won medalist honors by two shots with a 13-under score of 200. He shot 66 (-5) today at The Club at Old Hawthorne.
