Men’s Soccer Announces 2024 Schedule

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina men’s soccer team announced its 2024 schedule today (July 16) The back-to-back national attendance leaders will give fans plenty of opportunities to see the Gamecocks at Stone Stadium, as the schedule features 14 home matches.

Carolina’s schedule begins with a trio of home exhibition matches, Aug. 10 against NC State, Aug. 15 versus the College of Charleston, and Aug. 17 against Mercer.

The regular season begins under the lights Aug. 22 when the Gamecocks take on in-state foe Winthrop at 7 p.m. Opening week continues Aug. 25 against North Florida.

The annual Palmetto Series Presented by the South Carolina Education Lottery will take place at Stone Stadium Friday night, August 30, at 7 p.m.

Carolina’s lone road non-conference match comes on Sept. 4 when it travels to Jacksonville.

The Gamecocks return home for five consecutive matches beginning Sept. 7 against Belmont. The homestand includes non-conference matches against USC Upstate (Sept. 10), East Tennessee State (Sept. 15) and Queens University Charlotte (Sept. 24), and features their Sun Belt Conference opener against Marshall on Sept. 24.

South Carolina’s first road conference match will be at Coastal Carolina on Sept. 28. After a quick return home to face Kentucky (Oct. 4), the Gamecocks head out for back-to-back road matches at Georgia State (Oct. 11) and West Virginia (Oct. 19).

A home match on Oct. 23 against James Madison is followed again by a pair of road matches at Old Dominion (Oct. 27) and UCF (Nov. 1). The regular season comes to a close at home Nov. 5 when the Gamecocks host Georgia Southern.

The 2024 Sun Belt Conference Tournament begins Nov. 10, with the championship match scheduled for Nov. 17. The tournament will take place at campus sites.
