Seven events will be new to the team’s schedule this season, including all four fall tournaments.
Carolina will open the season at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate Sept. 6-8 hosted by Tennessee. The team will then head west to compete in the Husky Invitational Sept. 23-24 hosted by Washington at Aldarra Golf Club.
The Gamecocks will conclude the fall portion of the team’s schedule at the Everett Buick GMC Classic in Little Rock, Ark. on Oct. 14-15 and the Fallen Oak Invitational in Saucier, Miss. on Oct. 19-21.
For the fourth consecutive season, the team will open the spring at the Puerto Rico Classic (Feb. 10-12) hosted by Purdue at Grand Reserve Golf Club. The annual Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate will take place March 23-25. It’ll be the 20th anniversary of the event, which is co-hosted by South Carolina and the College of Charleston at Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, just north of Charleston off Highway 17. The first Hootie at Bulls Bay was played in late March of 2005. The Gamecocks have won the event five times (2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022).
A trio of new events will be featured in the spring with the John Hayt Invitational (March 8-10) in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., the Linger Longer Invitational (March 16-18) at Lake Oconee and The Invitational at The Ford (April 14-15) in Richmond Hill, Ga.
For the 24th season, the Southeastern Conference Championship will be played at Sea Island Golf Club’s Seaside Course April 23-27. NCAA Regionals will take place May 12-14 at six sites across the country. The top-five teams at each site will advance to the NCAA Championship May 23-28, which will be played at Omni La Costa in Carlsbad, Calif. for the second consecutive season.
