The Gamecocks moved to 2-0-0 on the season after defeating the College of Charleston 4-1 on Sunday at home in Stone Stadium. A pair of fifth-years got the job done for South Carolina, with Corinna Zullo and Cat Barry each scoring a pair of goals in the second half. With her two goals and two assists, Barry was named an Honorable Mention for the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week (Aug. 26).

SCOUTING THE BUCKEYES

Thursday’s meeting with Ohio State will be the first in program history. The Buckeyes head into the match 3-0-0, highlighted by a season-opening win against No. 24 Duke (1-0). Ohio State most recently faced Ashland University at home, getting a 3-1 win.

Senior Kailyn Dudukovich scored in the ninth minute to grab her 30th career goal and her fifth of the season, moving her to the No. 4 spot in the Buckeyes’ record book for career goals.

South Carolina currently holds a 6-6-0 record against teams within the Big Ten.
