No. 23 Gamecocks Welcome Florida to Stone Stadium
COLUMBIA, SC – No. 23 South Carolina women’s soccer (5-1-5, 2-1-1) will take on SEC rival Florida (4-3-5, 1-2-1) at home on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. The game will also be the annual Pink Out game, with $3 admission to fans who wear pink. Additionally, pink rally towels will be given out to the first 750 fans thanks to Prisma Health, the official health care provider of Gamecock Athletics.
LAST TIME OUT
The Gamecocks come off a 1-1 draw against Vanderbilt after rookie Katie Shea Collins scored in the final minute of the match to tie the game up and earn a point on the road.
The goal was Collins’ sixth of the season, the second-most on the team.
SCOUTING THE GATORS
South Carolina and Florida will face each other for the 38th time in program history. The Gators hold a 22-12-3 advantage over the Gamecocks, but South Carolina has won seven out of 10 of the last matchups, while the other three resulted in draws. The pair of teams last faced off in Gainesville in the 2023 season (Oct. 26), with the match finishing in a scoreless draw.
The Gators come off a 2-1 win over No. 22 Texas. Senior midfielder Lauren Donovan earned a shared SEC Offensive Soccer Player of the Week honor with her double-goal performance. The honor is the Gators first league mention of the season.

Fans will have the option to park in the grass lot behind the Athletic Village Parking Garage, at any of the City of Columbia metered spots located around Stone Stadium (subject to fees required through the ParkMobile app), the Roost parking lot, or the parking lot at the indoor tennis facility.
Single-game tickets are now on sale. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth 17 and under, and $3 for groups of 15 or more (with pre-purchase).
