South Carolina seeking to extend three-game road win streak that dates back to last season in first trip to Assembly Hall since 1973
COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina (2-1) hits the road for the first time in the 2024-25 season on Saturday, squaring off with No. 16/16 Indiana (2-0) at Assembly Hall. It’s just the fourth all-time meeting between the two programs and will be the Gamecocks first trip to Bloomington since December of 1973.
Tipoff is slated for 3 p.m. (ET) on the streaming platform Peacock, which will mark Carolina’s debut on the network. Plans start as low as $7.99 a month with more information here. They also offer a military discount for $2.99 a month and a student discount for $1.99 a month. A full list of compatible devices and platforms that support Peacock are available here.
South Carolina was 8-3 in true road contest last year, winning seven SEC games on the road, which tied the 1996-97 SEC Championship squad for the most SEC road wins in program history. The Gamecocks have won three consecutive true road games dating back to last season (at Ole Miss on Feb. 24, at Texas A&M on Feb. 28 and at Miss. State on March 9 in the regular season finale).
Carolina is fresh off a pair of 20-point home wins over SC State (Nov. 8) and Towson (Nov. 12). The Gamecocks scored 80 points in each game to improve to 9-0 under Paris the last three seasons when scoring 80 or more points.
Season tickets remain available and more information can be found here. Single-game tickets for all home games at Colonial Life Arena are also available as well and can be purchased here.
