Carolina seeking its first win in league play and to snap a nine-game losing streak to Crimson Tide

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina (10-4, 0-1 SEC) welcomes in No. 5/5 Alabama (12-2, 1-0 SEC) for its SEC home opener on Wednesday night. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. (ET) with doors opening 1 hour prior at 6 p.m.

Dave Neal (pxp) and Ron Slay (analyst) will be on the call for the SEC Network broadcast.

The Crimson Tide have won nine-straight over the Gamecocks dating back to a four-overtime thriller at Colonial Life Arena on Feb. 7, 2017. Carolina leads the all-time series at home with Alabama, 12-9.

The last time the Gamecocks defeated a top-five team at home was top-ranked Kentucky on Jan. 26, 2010.
