
Men’s Soccer Announces Spring Schedule
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Head men’s soccer coach Tony Annan announced the team’s spring schedule today. The Gamecocks will play four matches before gearing up for the second annual Carolina Cup.
Three of Carolina’s four matches will be at Stone Stadium, where admission will be free for all home matches. The Gamecocks kick off the spring schedule with a match against Canadian team Club De Soccer Le Phénix des Rivières February 28 at 4 p.m.
Carolina returns to the pitch at Stone Stadium the following weekend (March 7) to take on Gardner-Webb at 7 p.m. Their lone road match of the season sees the Gamecocks travel to Davidson March 29 for a 3 p.m. match.
In its final spring tune-up South Carolina hosts in-state foe Wofford April 5 at 3 p.m.
The spring season comes to a close with the Carolina Cup April 11-12 in High Point, North Carolina as Truist Point Stadium. The two-day tournament will see eight teams from around North and South Carolina compete for the Carolina Cup.
