Gamecocks Set For Another Top-10 Matchup

COLUMBIA, SC – The No. 8 Gamecocks (3-4, 1-4) will hit the road and travel to No. 3 Georgia (5-4, 3-1) to take on the Bulldogs for the second time this season on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 11:00 a.m. Live scoring will be available here.

LAST TIME OUT 

South Carolina faced No. 1 Auburn on the road, finding themselves up 6-4 at the half but ultimately falling 6-14 to the Tigers. Despite the team loss, Chloe Stephenson earned her second consecutive MOP in Reining this season after defeating Callie Hogg 71.25-70.25 on Remi.

The Gamecocks defeated Auburn 3-2 on the Flat and in Reining.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS

Saturday’s meet will be the 44th matchup in program history, with Georgia leading the overall series 30-13. The pair last met in the fall (Nov. 1), with the Bulldogs taking home the 10-7 victory in a tight meet.

Georgia heads into the meet coming off a nailbiting 9-10 loss against the defending National Champions of SMU.
