No. 5 Gamecocks Set to Host 13th Darius Rucker Intercollegiate Monday

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – No. 5 South Carolina returns to action on Monday as it host the 13^th edition of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate (March 3-5). Golf Channel has again partnered with the prestigious event and will be providing live coverage from 2:30-5:30 p.m. (ET) each day.

It’s another strong field that will rival what teams will see at the NCAA Championship in May with 12 teams ranked in the top-25 of the latest Clippd Scoreboard Rankings, including six ranked inside the top-10.

Clippd will provide live scoring for the annual tournament.

Senior All-American Hannah Darling, the defending co-champion of the event, has the top spot in the lineup this week. She’s joined by standout freshman Eila Galitsky, senior All-American Louise Rydqvist, graduate Sophia Burnett and sophomore Maylis Lamoure. Junior Mia Sandotorv Lussand and sophomore Vai Heck will play as individuals this week at Long Cove.

All-American Mathilde Claisse made history in 2023 becoming the first Gamecock to win the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate. Darling followed suit last season with her victory. South Carolina is seeking to win its first team title at the Darius this week with runner-up finishes in 2022 and 2023.
