Rising redshirt senior fresh off an All-American season in which he helped lead the Gamecocks back to the NCAA Championship for the first time since 2019

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Rising redshirt senior All-American Frankie Harris is ranked No. 12 in the PGA TOUR University Preseason Rankings for the Class of 2026 the organization announced on Wednesday. Harris is one of 13 players from the Southeastern Conference on the top-25 PGA TOUR U preseason list.

The Boca Raton, Fla. native, who played in the U.S. Open this summer at Oakmont, became the 28th different player to earn All-America status for South Carolina back in June after a standout 2024-25 season. He became the first All-American under head coach Rob Bradley.

Harris helped lead the Gamecocks back to the NCAA Championship for the first time since 2019 as he T-2nd at the NCAA Bremerton Regional May 12-14. He shot 205 (-11) with scores of 72-66-67. He led the team with a 70.97 scoring average and an impressive five top-five finishes in 10 stroke play starts. His five top-five finishes are T-2nd most for a single-season in program history with former All-Americans Matt NeSmith (2015-16), David Seawell (1993-94), Carl Paulson (1992-93) and Webb Heintzelman (1983-84).

Heading into this season, Harris’ nine career top-five finishes are currently T-7th most in program history. NeSmith, Seawell and former All-American Kyle Thompson are tied with the most career top-fives at 14. He has three career wins, two shy of matching Thompson for the most career wins in program history.

All-American Nathan Franks finished No. 21 in PGA TOUR U last season and All-American Ryan Hall finished No. 11 in PGA TOUR U in 2021-22. Harris will look to join the duo next spring as the third player in program history to finish top-25 in PGA TOUR U.
