Gamecocks to Face NC State in Exhibition Oct. 26 at First Horizon Coliseum

GREENSBORO, N.C. – South Carolina will face NC State in an exhibition game on Sunday, Oct. 26 at First Horizon Coliseum. Tipoff is slated for 4:30 p.m. (ET) with the NC State women’s team facing Maryland prior at 2 p.m. Complete Sports Management, who hosted the Gamecocks’ foreign tour trip to the Bahamas in 2023, setup the two exhibition matchups.

Tickets for the two games will go on sale Friday, August 22 at 10 a.m. and will be available for purchase here.

The new-look Carolina squad features 11 new players with six transfers headlined by the return of All-SEC guard Meechie Johnson. The squad features five freshmen led by highly touted guard Eli Ellis.

NC State also revamped its roster under first-year head coach Will Wade with the addition of nine transfers to their roster for the upcoming season. Wade served as the head coach of LSU (2017-22) for five seasons and most recently was at McNeese State (2023-25) where he led the Cowboys to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances.
