Gamecocks Have 19 Games in ESPN’s SEC Package
COLUMBIA, S.C. – The SEC schedule released by ESPN today includes a league-high 19 South Carolina women’s basketball games slated to air on national television in 2025-26. The Gamecocks have a pair of games on ABC, eight on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPN U – including three non-conference matchups – and a league-high nine SEC Network games.
Headlining the release are the Gamecocks’ two games on ABC this season – vs. Tennessee on Feb. 8 and at LSU on Feb. 14 – including the prime time timeslot for the Valentine’s Day matchup in Baton Rouge.
In non-conference action, the Gamecocks make their national TV debut on ESPN2 against in-state rival Clemson in a 6 p.m. tipoff on Nov. 11 at Colonial Life Arena. Home games against Winthrop, NC Central and Providence will air on SEC Network, and ESPN will broadcast the Gamecocks’ mid-December meeting with Penn State as well as their trip to Louisville for the ACC/SEC Challenge. The Gamecocks’ three non-conference games on ESPN/2 are more than any other SEC team.
South Carolina will play in five of the 16 SEC regular-season games that will air on one of the ESPN networks. In those games, the Gamecocks will host Texas (ESPN2), Vanderbilt (ESPN) and Ole Miss (ESPN/2) and travel to Oklahoma (ESPN) and Texas A&M (ESPN2/U). Their 10 games across ESPN and ABC this season are the most in the league.
The Gamecocks also lead the league with nine games on SEC Network with six of those coming during league play – at Florida, vs. Georgia, at Auburn, vs Mississippi State, at Alabama and vs. Missouri.
Game times and networks for the SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament in Greenville, S.C., have also been set. First- and second-round games on March 4-5 will air on SEC Network at 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Friday’s noon and 2:30 p.m. quarterfinals will air on ESPN with the evening quarterfinal games at 6 and 8:30 p.m. airing on SEC Network. Saturday’s semifinals are set for 4:30 and 7 p.m. on ESPN2 with the Sunday championship game airing on ESPN at 3 p.m.
In addition to these games, South Carolina will play two games on the TNT family of networks at the Players Era Championship Nov. 26-27 and one game on FOX as part of The Real SC event against Southern Cal on Nov. 15.
All Gamecock home games not scheduled for linear broadcast will be streamed live on SEC Network+, as will SEC road games at Arkansas and Kentucky.
