Gamecocks to Face Wake Forest in NCAA First Round
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – South Carolina women’s soccer (10-4-5) will be playing in the NCAA Women’s Soccer Tournament for the 13th straight season, facing Wake Forest (10-4-4) on the road. The Demon Deacons will be the No. 7 seed, followed by Xavier at the No. 6, Colorado at No. 3, and Michigan State at No. 2. The NCAA appearance will be the 18th in program history. - Reached the SEC Tournament for the 20th straight year
- Head Coach Shelley Smith ranks No. 14 all-time for active DI coaches in career wins (368)

- South Carolina is tied for No. 6 in the country with 10 shutouts on the year
- Finished the regular season ranked first in the nation for average and total attendance for the third season in a row
