Men’s Tennis Releases 2026 Spring Schedule
COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina men’s tennis team has released the second half of the 2025-26 campaign, announced by head coach Josh Goffi on Wednesday. The 2026 spring slate consists of 13 home matches including the ITA Kickoff Weekend when the Gamecocks host Clemson, Michigan State and Harvard.
The Gamecocks kick things off at home on Sunday, Jan. 11, hosting North Florida and the Citadel for a triple header. South Carolina first faces the Ospreys at 10:00 a.m. before wrapping up the day against the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m.
South Carolina then heads up to New York city the following Sunday to face Columbia on Nov. 18 before returning home to host the ITA Kickoff Weekend. The Gamecocks open the tournament against in-state rival Clemson on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 11:00 a.m. Depending on the result, South Carolina will play either Michigan State or Harvard next on Sunday, Jan. 25 to wrap up the tournament.
The team begins February with a trip up to Raleigh, taking on NC State Sunday, Feb. 1 before wrapping up non-conference matches at home with a doubleheader against SC State and Presbyterian on Friday, Feb. 6 and Duke on Sunday, Feb. 8. Those who qualify will travel to Texas for the ITA Indoors which takes place Feb. 13-17.
The Gamecocks begin conference play with a trip out west that begins with Oklahoma on Feb. 21 before they head to Arkansas for a 2:00 p.m. (ET) first serve on Feb. 23.
It will be a rematch of the 2025 SEC Championship final on Friday, Feb. 27 as South Carolina hosts Texas for a 1:00 p.m. match. The last time the two teams faced each other Texas was crowned SEC Champion in Columbia.
The Gamecocks open March with Florida for a 12:00 p.m. first serve on the first before returning to Columbia for a four-match homestand that begins with Texas A&M on Sunday, March 8 at 1:00 p.m. The team faces the two Mississippi programs the following weekend starting with Mississippi State on Friday, March 13 at 5:00 p.m. before rounding out the week against Ole Miss on Sunday, March 15 at 1:00 p.m. The homestand ends on Friday, March 20 with a 5:00 p.m. match against Kentucky.
South Carolina then spends a weekend in Alabama, first facing the Crimson Tide on Friday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m. (ET) before heading over to Auburn on Sunday, March 29 for a 1:00 p.m. (ET) match.
The Garnet & Black round out home matches with LSU and Vanderbilt, first facing the Tigers on Thursday, April 2 at 1:00 p.m. before hosting the Commodores on Saturday, April 4 at 4:00 p.m.
The Gamecocks wrap up regular season on the road with Georgia on Friday, April 10 and Tennessee on Sunday, April 12.
Texas A&M hosts the 2026 SEC Tournament in College Station from April 15-19.
The Gamecocks finished the 2024-25 season with a 21-8 overall record. The team set a new program record in SEC play after earning an 11-3 standing which included six upset victories. In total South Carolina saw 10 ranked wins, four of which were consecutive. In the SEC Championship the Gamecocks advanced to the final round for the second straight season, ultimately falling to Texas 4-1. The Garnet & Black’s season ended in California as the team fell 4-0 to Stanford in the NCAA super regionals. South Carolina finished with a team ranking of No. 13.
