COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina volleyball team picked up a pair of post season honors as seniors Sarah Jordan and Emily Beeker were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Volleyball Team, announced by the organization on Tuesday.

The 2025 CSC Academic All-District® Volleyball Teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Academic nomination criteria require honorees to have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or greater. Athletically, student-athletes must compete in 90% or more of the institution’s matches or start in at least 66% of them.

This marks Jordan’s third consecutive season being named to the CSC All-District team. The senior played in all 26 matches as the team’s top setter for the 2025 campaign, leading the team with 485 total assists to average 5.51 per set. Jordan reached double digit assists at all but one match, recording more than 20 during 13 games. The Virginia native had team leading assists against 13 opponents, earning a season high 36 against NC State – the most earned by any Gamecock this season. Jordan’s skills were versatile as she additionally dished out 158 digs, the second highest amount on the team this season.

Beeker picked up her first CSC Academic All-District Team honor after spending her final year of eligibility with South Carolina following three seasons at Tennessee. The senior started in all 26 matches this season, claiming her role as the top middle blocker for the program. She recorded a career high 113 blocks on the season to lead the team, averaging 1.18 per set which is a mark that ranked eighth in the SEC and fifth in Gamecock program history. The North Carolina native etched her name in the record books for block assists as well, tallying 98 during the 2025 campaign to rank 10th. Beeker set career highs in blocks (9) and kills (12) against Arkansas and Vanderbilt, respectively. Additionally, she recorded a career best 152 kills which was the third highest on the team this season.
