COLUMBIA, S.C. – The No. 6 South Carolina Equestrian (6-4, 1-3) team returns home after three straight meets in Texas to host No. 1 Auburn (6-1, 2-1) on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 11:00 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT

The Gamecocks opened the spring portion of the 2025-26 season on the road, competing three days in a row against top-10 Baylor, Texas A&M, and SMU, respectively. South Carolina opened with a win against Baylor, defeating the Bears 10-7. Amira Kettaneh earned her fourth MOP of the season with a score of 88 in Fences. The Gamecocks won Fences 3-1 and Horsemanship 4-1 to edge out Baylor.

South Carolina then traveled to College Station to face Texas A&M. Despite falling 13-6, the Gamecocks earned three MOP honors. Grace Rabb outscored her opponent 87.5-69 in Fences for the MOP, while her twin, Sarah Rabb, grabbed a MOP with an 87.5 in Flat. Alexis Potts scored the team’s lone Horsemanship point of the meet, scoring a 76.75 to keep her undefeated record (7-0-2) intact and pick up a MOP. It was all three Gamecocks’ second MOP of the season.

The team closed out the Texas stretch against SMU, falling 12-7. South Carolina outscored the Mustangs 3-2 in Reining and earned two MOPs. The Rabb twins swept the Jumping Seat honors, with Sarah grabbing Flat with a score of 83, and Grace earning an 85 in Fences.

The Rabbs then made history, securing both NCEA and SEC honors, the first time a sibling duo has done so in the same month.
