AWARDS/HONORS

2024 (SOPHOMORE)

  • Saw time in nine matches and 23 sets total.
  • Stepped in to the team’s match against Clemson and led the offense with 18 assists, eight digs and a service ace (9/20).
  • Worked predominantly as a serving sub late in the season, highlighted by a pair of aces over three sets against Texas A&M (11/30).

2023 (FRESHMAN)

  • Stepped into the setting role in her first season, playing in 14 games and 41 total sets before missing the final third of the season due to injury.
  • Shined in her first weekend as a Gamecock, averaging six assists and 1.57 digs per set against Towson.
  • Almost went for a double double in her collegiate debut, recording 16 assists and eight digs in three sets against Towson (8/25).
  • Frustrated the Troy passers with five service aces in four sets, the most by a Gamecock since 2021 (9/3).
  • Recorded her first collegiate double-double, finishing with 20 assists and 12 digs against 4th-ranked Florida (10/1).
  • Finished with two or more aces in a match four times and led the team in aces three times.
  • Passed out 20 or more assists in six of her 14 games played, with a season high of 26 against Towson on Aug. 26.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB

  • Four-year varsity letter winner at Vistamar High School.
  • Won the female athlete of the year for her high school and was named the Coastal League MVP as a senior.
  • Played club volleyball for Sunshine Volleyball Club, helping the team qualify for USAV nationals five years in a row.
  • Led Sunshine of the USAV High Performance tournament title in 2019.
  • Participated in the USAV SCVA High Performance Program.

PERSONAL

  • Daughter of Scott Floyd and Amy Banachowski.
  • Has one sister, Hayden.
  • Her mother played volleyball at UCLA and her grandfather Andy Banachowski was an all American and coached the Bruins women’s volleyball program from 1965 to 2010. During his tenure, UCLA won six national championships as a coach, another as a player, and made the UCLA, AVCA and National Volleyball halls of fame.
  • Plans to major in exercise science at South Carolina, with a career goal of becoming a physical therapist.
