Chris Hartshorn

Chris Hartshorn is in his fifth season as assistant cheerleading coach at the University of South Carolina. He previously spent over 10 years with the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) working with various cheerleading programs throughout the country. As the head cheerleading coach and spirit coordinator at Iowa State University, he led the Cyclone all-girl squad to their first ever competition at the Division 1A level, while leading to coed squad to their first appearance at NCA College Nationals. Hartshorn also is the gym manager and director at silverjax allstars, a cheerleading training facility in Cayce, S.C.

He earned a Master of Science in sports and entertainment management from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in sport management from North Carolina State University while competing as a member of the cheerleading program at both universities.
