Earned Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar honors from the Golf Coaches Association of America … Played in 10 of the team[apos]s 12 tournaments, including the SEC Championship, NCAA West Regional and NCAA Championship … Posted a 73.86 average with two top-20 finishes … Carded a 69 in the second round of the NCAA Championship … Shot a career-best 67 in the second round of the NCAA West Regional en route to a career-low 211 over 54 holes, helping the Gamecocks to the title … Tied for team-high honors with a 16th-place finish at the SEC Championship … Narrowly missed his first top-10 finish of the season with an 11th-place showing at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate … Member of the SEC Spring Sports Academic Honor Roll.

Was a six-year letterman at Richland Northeast High School … Named AJGA All-American in 2004 … Listed among the Top 50 on the National Junior Golf Scoreboard, Class of 2004 … Posted 10 first-place finishes and 23 top-10 finishes in his final two years of junior golf … Won the 2003 AJGA Dunlop Junior Championship … Qualified for and played in the 2002 and 2003 Westfield (Ohio) PGA Junior Championship, finishing fourth in 2002 … Placed first in the Carolinas USGA Jr. Amateur Qualifier and played in the U.S. Junior Amateur in Maryland in 2003 … Was a member of Team USA at the World Junior Golf Cup Grand Finals in August of 2001 … Won two of three matches in the event as the U.S. team beat Canada in St. Andrews, Scotland.
