AWARDS/HONORS

  • 2018-19 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll

2019

  • Transitioned well to the sand game, finishing with a 12-5 overall record in the lineup and six more wins in the exhibition pairing.
  • Four of her 12 wins came against CCSA rivals, and two wins came over ranked opponents.
  • Her signature win came at No. 4 LSU, where she won in three sets with teammate Hannah Edelman (4/6).

PREVIOUS SCHOOL

  • Played in 108 career matches as an indoor volleyball student-athlete, 21 as a freshman at Southern Cal and 87 over three seasons with Wisconsin.
  • Totaled over 1,000 career kills and 500 digs.
  • Helped the Badgers reach the Sweet 16 in 2017, the regional final in 2016 and the regional semifinal in 2015.
  • Named to the 2015 USA Volleyball Junior National Team, and won a gold medal in the Global Challenge in Pula, Croatia.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB

  • Played at New Castle High School under coaches Randy Gardner and Mike Doddrill, and earned the 2013 Gatorade Indiana Player of the Year award.
  • 2013 Under Armour First-Team All-American, and was named the MVP of the Under Armour All-American match.
  • Three-time All-Indiana honoree.
  • Played for Munciana Volleyball Club and earned four AAU All-America honors.
  • Participated in the USA High Performance Select A1 program in 2010 and 2011, and selected to the High Performance Youth National A2 Team and the Olympic Development Program in Colorado Springs.

  • Daughter of Bill Gillis and Tammy McCall.
  • Father played basketball at Ball State from 1989-93 and also played professional basketball overseas and in the CBA.
  • Mother ran cross country at Ball State.
