2020-21 (GRADUATE SENIOR)

  • One of two players on the team to start all 10 events; finished the season with a 72.37 scoring average shooting par or better 14 times (30 rounds played total)
  • T-32nd at the NCAA Albuquerque Regional with a score of 217 (+1, 71-72-74)
  • Led the team at the SEC Championship (April 21-24) in stroke play after finishing T-5th; shot 210 (E) with a final round 68 (-2); posted a dominant 5&4 win over Alabama’s JP Cave in the match play quarterfinals
  • Notched first top-20 of the season at the Tiger Invitational (March 15-17); T-11th after shooting 71-69-71 for a final 54-hole score of 211 (-5)
  • Made the cut at the 2021 Jones Cup (Feb. 5-7) at Sea Island; T-28th with a 54-hole total of 224 (+8, 71-79-74) 
  • T-13th at the 2020 Patriot All-America Invitational (Dec. 29-31) at Wigwam Golf Club in Litchfield Park, Ariz.; shot 68-71-70 for a final 54-hole tally of 209 (-1) 
  • Best finish in three all-SEC fall tournaments came at the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate (Nov. 8-10); T-29th after shooting 210 (E, 69-71-70)
  • Was the runner-up medalist at the 2020 Azalea Invitational (Oct. 29-Nov. 1; posted a 72-hole score of 277 (-7, 74-64-70-69) and fell in a playoff to TCU’s Mateo Fernandez de Oliveira at Charleston Country Club
  • Played in the 2020 U.S. Amateur (Aug. 10-16) at Bandon Dunes alongside teammates Ryan Hall and Jack Wall
  • Earned a spot on the 2021 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll; also named 2020-21 Srixon/Cleveland Golf Scholar All-American for the first time

2019-20 (SENIOR)

  • Started all seven tournaments in shortened season due to COVID-19 pandemic and led the team in virtually every major statistical category: scoring average (70.86), rounds of par or better (14), rounds in the 60s (8), par-3 average (3.00), par-4 average (4.05), top-10 finishes (3) and top-20s (5)
  • Earned first All-America honors of his career and was also named First Team All-SEC and PING All-Southeast region
  • Finished outside the top-15 just twice in his seven starts
  • Averaged a third-round score of 69.71, which led the team
  • Finished sixth at the General Hackler Championship (March 9-10); shot 211 (-5) with a 68 (-4) in the second round
  • Started all five fall tournaments and paced Carolina with a scoring average of 70.60, 10 rounds of par or better, seven rounds in the 60s and four top-20 finishes
  • T-12th at the Ka’anapali Collegiate Classic (Nov. 2-4), posting an 8-under score of 205 (70-66-69)
  • T-14th in a loaded field at the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 20-22), finished the tournament at 2-under (214) and led the Gamecocks in the final round with a 66 (-6)
  • T-4th at the J.T. Poston Invitational after carding a new, 54-hole career-best score of 203 (-10); fired a career-best score of 64 in the second round, T-4th lowest mark in program history; helped the team set a new 54-hole program record low score of 806 (-46)
  • Paced the Gamecocks with a T-4th finish at the season-opening Carpet Capital Collegiate (Sept. 6-8); shot 215 (-1) with a pair of 68s
  • Won the 2019 Palmetto Amateur (July 24-27), defeating Evan Brown of Loyola University Maryland in a playoff; posted a final round 68 (-3) to comeback and force sudden death against Brown; finished with a 72-hole score of 276 (-8) at historic Palmetto Golf Club in Aiken, S.C.
  • Named to the 2020 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll

2018-19 (JUNIOR)

  • Saw action in eight events, making seven starts in the lineup; posted a scoring average of 72.50 (fifth-best mark by junior in program history) with four top-20 finishes that included a pair of top-fives
  • Shot par or better 10 times in 22 rounds played with seven rounds in the 60s
  • Started seven of the team’s nine events in the spring, posting a 71.84 scoring average
  • Shot 220 (+10) in the stroke play portion of the SEC Championship (April 24-26) and T-46th; fell 5&4 to Brandon Mancheno in the SEC Match Play Quarterfinals (April 27) vs. No. 16 Auburn
  • Had career-best showing to date earning runner-up medalist honors at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational (April 6-7) after shooting 204 (-12, 71-66-67); shot under par every round and nearly helped the team comeback to beat No. 3 Wake Forest the final 18 holes on Sunday; named SEC Golfer of the Week for performance
  • Finished third at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate (March 24-26), posting a 9-under score of 207 (69-69-69) while helping the team to a comeback victory in the final round for its second win of the spring
  • T-19th at the Palmetto Intercollegiate (March 11-12) with a final round 69 (-1); helped the team to its first win of the spring in which it set the program 54-hole scoring record at 813 (-27) en route to a 35-shot victory
  • Played as an individual in the team’s first event of the spring, the All-American Intercollegiate (Feb. 17-19); T-9th at 1-under (72-71) in a shortened event due to poor weather 
  • Earned a spot on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll

2017-18 (SOPHOMORE)

  • Started in the lineup in all seven events he played in, posting a 73.71 scoring average
  • Ended the season with six rounds of par or better
  • Score counted in the lineup 14 times in 21 rounds played, shot in the 60s twice
  • Tallied a season-best T-24th finish at the Camden Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 21-22) as the team won the tournament for the third time in four seasons
  • T-35th at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate (March 25-27) with a 3-over score of 219
  • Bounced back from a pair of 76s in the opening two rounds with a final round 67 (-5)
  • Named to the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll

2016-17 (FRESHMAN)

  • Saw action in 10 events as a true freshman, playing in the starting lineup for all eight tournaments in the spring
  • Posted a 72.97 18-hole scoring average, the sixth best for a freshman in program history
  • Made postseason debut at the SEC Championship (April 21-24) and the NCAA West Lafayette Regional (May 15-17), T-44th (228, +12) at NCAA Regionals and T-16th (211, +1) at SECs
  • Propelled the Gamecocks to first ever SEC Match Play after shooting a career-best 66 (-4) in the final round of stroke play at the SEC Championship
  • The 66 at SECs tied for the fourth lowest 18-hole score by a freshman in program history
  • Had a career best showing at the Hootie At Bulls Bay Intercollegiate (March 26-28), finishing T-5th to propel the team to its third consecutive title at the event
  • Shot 69-72-72 (209, -7) to set a new 54-hole career low, performance earned him SEC Co-Freshman of the Week honors
  • Made debut in the South Carolina lineup in the opening tournament of the spring, the All-American Intercollegiate (Feb. 17-19)
  • T-32nd (217, +1) to help the team place fourth, carded two even par 72s and led the team with 11 birdies as he earned his first SEC Freshman of the Week honors for his performance
  • Score counted 22 of 23 times (95.7 percent) as he finished third on the team with 11 rounds of par or better and five rounds in the 60s
  • Member of the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll

PRIOR TO SOUTH CAROLINA

  • Ranked the No. 5 recruit in South Carolina
  • The No. 71 national prospect for his class and No. 138 overall for all ages
  • Won the 2015 Major Championship at True Blue
  • Medalist for the 2015 Beth Daniel Junior Azalea
  • Runner-up at the 2014 SCJGA 18th Players Championship
