2020-21 (SOPHOMORE)

• Played in three events, all in the spring portion of the schedule
• Finished the season with a 76.67 scoring average in nine rounds played
• Made his lineup debut for the Gamecocks at the LSU Invitational (Feb. 26-28); shot 222 (+6, 71-75-76) and finished T-21^st, helping the team to a third-place finish in a mostly all-SEC field
• Also earned starts at the Tiger Invitational (March 15-17) and Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate (March 28-30)
• T-10^th at the Golfweek Carolina Country Club Amateur (Nov. 1-3) in Spartanburg, S.C.; shot 223 (+7) and fired a final round 70 (-2)
• Earned a spot on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll

2019-20 (FRESHMAN)

• ­­Saw action in two events (one fall, one spring tournament) as an individual during a shortened season due to the COVID-19 pandemic
• Shot 228 (+12) and T-68^th at the All-American Intercollegiate (Feb. 16-18)
• Made his collegiate debut playing as an individual at the Carpet Capital Collegiate (Sept. 7-9); T-66^th after carding a 19-over, 235 (72-82-81)
• Earned a spot on the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll

PRIOR TO SOUTH CAROLINA

• Two-time 5A All-State selection
• Two-time Region Player of the Year and two-time Region Champion
• Won the SCJGA Grant Bennett Florence Junior as well as South Carolina Junior Match Play Qualifying
• T-4^th at the Beth Daniel Junior Azalea
• 2017 Carolinas Junior Team Member

• Son of Mark and Susan Mayfield – has two sisters: Sarah and Caroline
• Sport and entertainment management major
• Bacon and eggs is his favorite meal
• List Rock Hill Country Club (Rock Hill, S.C.) as favorite course
• Honors student in high school
