Named to the All-SEC Second Team…PING All-Southeast Region…Season scoring average of 72.06 was the fifth-best single season in South Carolina history…Captured two tournament titles during the season, becoming the first Carolina golfer to win multiple times in the same season since Kyle Thompson (2000-01 and 1998-99)…Other Gamecocks with more than one win in a single season include Carl Paulson (1992-93), Fred Wadsworth (1983-84) and Steve Liebler (1979-80)…Tied for Seminole Intercollegiate title with score of 70-73-69=212 (-1), then defeated Florida State[apos]s Seath Lauer in a four-hole playoff…Won Rees Jones Intercollegiate for second straight year, tying teammate George Bryan IV at 214 (-2) and winning in a sudden-death playoff… Posted three top-five, four top-20 and seven top-20 finishes…Tied for third place at Administaff Augusta State Invitational with 69-67-70=206 (-10)…Both his 54-hole total of 206 and his second-round 67 were career-bests…Ten of his final 11 rounds of the season were at 72 or better…Tied for team lead with 16 rounds of par or better…Capped off career with tie for eighth place at NCAA East Regional.
2008-09
Played in three varsity events … Tied for medalist honors at the Rees Jones Intercollegiate in November, shooting rounds of 72-72-74=218 (+2) to equal teammate Wesley Bryan for the top spot, leading the Gamecocks to their second of four team titles on the year … Carded a hole-in-one on Hole No. 5 of his second round at Haig Point, the first of his Carolina career … Played in the season-opening Carpet Capital Collegiate … Competed at the General Hackler Invitational … Was medalist at the sectional qualifier to advance to his second straight U.S. Amateur Championship … Named to SEC Spring Sports Academic Honor Roll.
2007-08
Played in one varsity event and one Garnet Team tournament … tied for team-best honors with a 3-1-0 record in Callaway Golf Collegiate Match Play, recording wins against Florida State, Alabama and Florida … won the Coker Intercollegiate to lead the Garnet Team to victory, shooting seven-under for the tournament … competed in 2008 U.S. Amateur … was a member of the SEC Spring Sports Academic Honor Roll.
2006-07
Posted a 77.50 average over two varsity tournaments … matched his season low with a 73 in the third round of the Wofford Invitational (Garnet Team) … made his college debut at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate, shooting 73 in the second round en route to a tie for 37th place … member of the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll.

Played for coach Andy Hamilton at Lake City High School … capped his prep career by winning the Class 3A State Championship and earning all-state honors … Finished No. 3 in the South Carolina Heritage Classic Foundation Player Rankings in 2005 … placed second at the SCJGA Junior in 2004 and 2005 and the Carolina PGA Junior Westfield in 2005 … also placed third at the 2005 Fall Challenge, the 2005 Bobby Chapman and the Carolinas Big I … was a top-10 finisher at the 2005 Carolinas Junior … member of the All-Carolinas Junior Team … ranked No. 2 academically in his senior class … member of the National Honor Society and the Beta Club.
