2015 (SENIOR): Started all 21 matches … Posted five goals, four going as game-winners … Named third-team All-Conference USA and third-team NSCAA All-Southeast Region … Also gained a spot on the C-USA All-Academic Team and on CoSIDA’s Academic All-District 4 squad … A second-team NSCAA Scholar All-South selection … Those four game-winning goals ranked second in Conference USA and 24th in NCAA Division I … Two of those game-winners came in the first two matches, over Mercer (8/28) and against Georgia Southern (8/31) … His goal against the Eagles ranked as the No. 2 play on SportsCenter’s Top 10, as he one-touched the free kick from classmate Ryan Arambula and scissor-kicked in the deciding goal … Posted the game-winner in the 99th minute against No. 7 New Mexico (9/25) … Assisted on the first goal in the Florida Atlantic win (10/9) … Posted the lone goal at No. 23 NC State (10/13) … Scored the game-winner over No. 13 Old Dominion (10/31) … Garnered recognition on both the C-USA Commissioner’s and the SEC Fall Academic Honor Rolls.

2014 (JUNIOR): Started all 20 matches for the Gamecocks … Earned spots on the CoSIDA Academic All-District 4 team, the Conference USA All-Academic Team … Also named second-team Scholar All-South Region by the NSCAA … Tied for third on the team with three goals, with one ranking as a game-winner … That finisher came in the final moments of the largest comeback win in program history at FIU (10/8) … Scored twice in that match, the second and fifth goals in the 5-4 win … He assisted on the first goal in the win at Florida Atlantic (10/17) … Punched in a goal in the C-USA Tournament Championship Match at Old Dominion (11/16) to cut the lead to one … Named to both the C-USA Commissioner’s and Southeastern Conference Fall Academic Honor Rolls.

2013 (Sophomore)
Started all 17 of his appearances and led the Gamecocks in points (11pts on 5g, 1a), goals (5), shots (33) and shots on goal (17)…scored the Gamecocks’ first goal of the season, an unassisted game winner in a 1-0 result over East Tennessee State to open the 2013 campaign…found the net in a 1-1 draw vs. South Florida (Sept. 20) in the Gamecock Classic…scored five points on two goals and an assist, keying a furious comeback on the road at No. 10 UAB (Nov. 3)…housed the equalizer at 3-3 in the 85th minute that drove South Carolina to a 4-3 upset win…put four of five shots on goal in the match vs. the Blazers…netted another against Old Dominion (Nov. 9) in the final home match of the season…named to the C-USA and SEC Academic Honor Roll…awarded C-USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal for the second straight year.

2012 (Freshman)
Saw action in all 18 contests with 10 starts on the year during rookie campaign … Started the final 10 contests of the season … Posted 29 shots, including nine on goal, ranking third on the team in both categories … Tallied season high four shots on three different occasions … Scored two goals and registered three assists, which tied for the team lead … Collected first-career assist at SMU (Sept. 24) and followed with another two games later in victory vs. UCF (Oct. 7) … First goal of the season came vs. UAB (Oct. 10) before registering another just two games later vs. Wofford (Oct. 17) … Named to the C-USA Academic Honor Roll … Also received the C-USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal, which is awarded to student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 and above … Member of the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.

Three-year letterwinner for coach Adam Clemenson in men’s soccer at Nolan Catholic High School … Also played on the varsity football team (sophomore, junior) … Soccer squad was the 2011 state champion … Named to the ESPN High School Texas All-State squad … First-team all-district (2009, 2010, 2011) … Named to the state all-tournament team (2009, 2011), District MVP (2010, 2011) … Played club soccer for Texans U-18 U.S. Academy team and coach David Hudgell … Club team finished third at nationals after an undefeated season in 2011.

Son of Jay and Fran Torda … Father, Jay, played golf at LSU and mom, Fran, played basketball at St. Gregory’s University … Has one brother, Alex, who played soccer at Dayton, and one sister, Jackie, who played soccer at TCU … A business major.
