- Began his collegiate career with a pair of straight set singles wins at the Gamecock Ranked +1
- Went 11-6 in singles matches through the fall. Of his 11 wins, nine of them were in straight sets
- Claimed his first career ranked singles win in a three-set comeback over then No. 106 Anuj Watane of North Carolina 2-6, 7-5, 7-5 at the ITA Carolina Regionals
- Advanced to the singles quarterfinals of the ITA Carolina Regionals
- Played dual singles matches at the Nos. 3, 4, 5, and 6 positions, posting winning records at Nos. 3, 4, and 5
- Began his dual career by clinching South Carolina’s win at then-No. 1 ranked Virginia with a three-set victory over Alexander Kiefer
- Won four ranked singles matches during his freshman season with his highest over then No. 52 Joseph Wayand of NC State 6-1, 6-3
- Went 3-0 in singles and 3-1 in doubles at the SEC Tournament to help the team advance to the program’s first SEC title match
- Won 17 doubles matches during his first season in the Garnet & Black with a 15-11 record in dual play
- Won 11 matches when paired with fellow freshman Jelani Sarr and six matches when paired with junior Casey Hoole
