Attended Collins Hill HS in Suwanee, Ga., where she was coached by Tracey Tipton … rated as the No. 50 player in the nation by Sports Illustrated, RiseMagazine and hoopgurlz.com … recognized as one of the top three shooters in the nation by hoopgurlz.com … McDonald[apos]s All-America finalist her senior year … first-team All-State by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Georgia Sportswriters Association her senior year after averaging 14 points per game playing for the No. 1 high school team in the nation … Lady Eagles finished the season in the top spot in USA Today[apos]s final national rankings and compiled a 62-1 overall record during her time there … Jones[apos] stats were stunted by the fact that she only played in half of most of Collins Hill[apos]s games due to the fact that the Lady Eagles won most of their games by 40 points or more … helped the team to a pair of Georgia Class 5A state championships … drained seven 3-pointers in the state semifinal game her senior year … set the Collins Hill HS record for most 3-pointers made in a single season during her junior year, then broke her own record during her senior campaign … two-time honorable mention selection to the Street & Smith[apos]s All-America team and was nominated for the WBCA All-America team as a senior … Atlanta Journal-Constitution recognized her as one of the top five players in the state of Georgia after her senior year … All-Academic selection with a nearly perfect grade point average … started her prep career at McEachern HS in Powder Springs, Ga., where she was on the varsity squad as both a freshman and sophomore before transferring to Collins Hill … AAU teammate of fellow South Carolina freshmen Ashlie Billingslea and Courtney Newton.
